Southwold Pier Area - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over fifty years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.

Always a joy to stay at Vicarys House
We have been holidaying in Southwold for 12 years now and really enjoy the area. We have stayed in four different properties over that time and Vicary's House was a lovely comfortable property.
Very impressed with how well equipped the property was!
This was our second stay at Vicary's House and was just as enjoyable, despite the weather. This property suited our needs very well with parking for 2 cars, dog friendly, and being very close to both the town and beach. If we visit Southwold in the future we would definitely look to stay here again.
