The Old Drapery is an interior-designed holiday apartment over the first and second floor with fantastic sea views from the first floor lounge and second floor bedroom. The location is ideal, being very close to the Southwold Pier and the seafront. It is has been newly refurbished throughout and all the furnishings are of a very high standard. This historic holiday apartment which dates back to around 1900 provides everything you would need for a Suffolk holiday - 150 metres from the beach with private parking for two cars and two bathrooms for the three bedrooms. On the second floor you'll find a relaxing little haven with a sumptuous king size bed and also a bathroom, including fantastic views from the Velux windows across Southwold towards the Pier and the sea. Outside the courtyard garden is ideal for catching the afternoon sun and offers enough space for dining. The Old Drapery is a lovely home-from-home Southwold apartment and an ideal choice for a holiday along the Suffolk Coast. Shop: 0.5 miles Pub: 0.5 miles.

Sitting Room/Dining Area: Smart TV with Netflix, radio with Bluetooth, wall-mounted gas fire, bookcase with books and games, three piece suite, dining table and chairs. There are also two lovely large windows with views of the sea and Southwold Pier.
Kitchen: Neff double oven, Neff five ring gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, tall glass table and two stools. From the kitchen door you can go down the steps which lead to the courtyard area.
Bedroom 2: Super king size bed which can convert into twin beds (please specify your preference at the time of booking), fitted wardrobes and dressing table.
Bedroom 3: King size bed which can convert into 2'6 twin beds (please specify your preference at the time of booking). This is a compact room and provides hanging and shelving space for clothes.
Bathroom: Spacious bathroom facility with a roll top bath, over-bath double head shower with rainfall shower head, washbasin and wc.

SECOND FLOOR
Small Landing Area with a cosy chair to soak up the views from the large Velux window of the sea and Southwold Pier.
Bedroom 1: King size bed, eaves with a Velux window to each side of the bedroom with one boasting views of Southwold seafront. A dressing table is provided along with a chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Bathroom: Roll top bath, overbath shower, washbasin and wc, ample storage space.

Outside: Courtyard area with garden furniture to seat six.
Parking: Private for two cars (one inside garage and one in front of garage).
Heating: Gas heating and electricity supplied by Ecotricity from green sources.
Notes: BT Infinity Wi-Fi and towels provided. Travel cot and highchair available to use. There is a shed under the exterior steps with beach equipment available to use.

Just a flying winter visit? The Old Drapery is available to book at a reduced rate for one or two nights in winter and early spring 2019; please call the office to book a one night stay.

Southwold Pier Area - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over fifty years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.
