The Old Drapery is an interior-designed holiday apartment over the first and second floor with fantastic sea views from the first floor lounge and second floor bedroom. The location is ideal, being very close to the Southwold Pier and the seafront. It is has been newly refurbished throughout and all the furnishings are of a very high standard. This historic holiday apartment which dates back to around 1900 provides everything you would need for a Suffolk holiday - 150 metres from the beach with private parking for two cars and two bathrooms for the three bedrooms. On the second floor you'll find a relaxing little haven with a sumptuous king size bed and also a bathroom, including fantastic views from the Velux windows across Southwold towards the Pier and the sea. Outside the courtyard garden is ideal for catching the afternoon sun and offers enough space for dining. You can absorb fantastic views of the pier - Southwold's most iconic feature from the large sitting room windows and Velux windows on the second floor.

Bedroom 3: King size bed which can convert into 2'6 twin beds (please specify your preference at the time of booking). This is a compact room and provides hanging and shelving space for clothes.
Bathroom: Spacious bathroom facility with a roll top bath, over-bath double head shower with rainfall shower head, washbasin and wc.

Southwold Pier Area - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over fifty years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.
