Southwold Pier Area - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over fifty years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.

Reviews

The Drapery is the perfect holiday home from home. The facilities and cleanliness are fantastic. We had clear instruction of where everything was and how to use appliances, as well as local places of interest and attractions. We stayed for a week and the holiday home was so lovely that we chose to stay in and cook rather than eat out on some nights. I would stay at The Drapery again in a heartbeat and I hope the next time I go to Southwold it is available. 10/10.

Ms D,

The Old Drapery is a super apartment in a good location within a few minutes walk of all that Southwold has to offer. It is spacious and very well appointed for any group staying, including families with children. It is also in a very quiet neighbourhood, but close to the beach and the pier.

Mr S,

Beautiful property very well maintained with all the elements we required
