Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour's mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coasts and Heaths (to whom our customer's £1 booking donation goes) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the area. And a very important area it is. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird's foot trefoil to name a few. Our properties here enjoy the sunrise over the sea and stunning sunsets over the marshes.

Plus points are terrific location to beach for dog walking and pub very close. Sun room furniture uncomfortable and garden not secure enough for our dog. Place mats would have been useful in the kitchen as well as a tea tray. Knives very blunt.
