With views of the Southwold marshes, harbour and beyond, Spindrift is an incredibly spacious self-catering holiday home in the centre of Southwold. The rooms at the front of the property look over the high street and St. Edmunds church and the rooms to the back of the property look over the neighbouring beautifully manicured gardens, the Sacred Heart church, Southwold harbour and the coastline towards Dunwich – not many properties in the high street can boast a sea view! Located only a few paces from the post office, there are shops and bakeries right on the doorstep, perfect for a morning coffee and croissant. The entrance hall offers a cloakroom, utility area and door leading to a lovely little courtyard with seating and a BBQ, perfect for the summer.
The property consists of four floors with the bathroom situated between the ground and first floor; and as you climb towards the top, this surprising property just keeps on giving. The first floor consists of a spacious lounge overlooking the bustling high street with a dining table in the large bay window, perfect for your self-catering stay. The kitchen, also situated on the first floor, is bright and airy with everything you need for a self-catering holiday on the coast; little details added by the owner add charm to the property and illustrate how much they want you to be able to relax and enjoy your stay.
The second floor consists of the three bedrooms with an additional cloakroom; each bedroom offers a different set up which creates flexible living for families or groups of friends. They each offer storage for use during your stay and those same wonderful views!
The third and final floor is the icing on the cake; a glass balustrade welcomes you to a large additional sitting room with the most outstanding view of all. It also boasts a large sofa, TV and table football – perfect! Shop: 100 yards Pub: 175 yards

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Spindrift. The milk in the fridge and the chocolate cake was a lovely touch to this welcoming holiday home. Very comfortable and spacious and a great location for the shopping, restaurants, pubs and beautiful walks.
Excellent accommodation for a large family with a baby - the football table and tv room a real bonus .Very clean and well equipped
We have had a wonderful time here in this fabulous house. So central for everything, lots of space, well equipped and really comfy beds. We would love to return, so hope to have the pleasure again some day. Such a relaxing home to stay with our family, will remember this forever.
This apartment was fantastic for the following reasons: Superb central location - on the High Street and near everything! Clean and comfortable - we are a family of 5! The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking equipment plus the bonus of a kitchen table. The layout is superb. We very much enjoyed out stay.
Thanks for a lovely stay, very spacious with excellent location, endless hot water and home from home kitchen! A gorgeous place to stay :) Thank you for an incredible week making memories in Southwold.
Thank you once again, 3rd time staying at Spindrift! We love it here. Enjoyed our few days, delicious fish pie and wonderful fresh air. Thank you for the sponge cake and milk, a lovely touch. Look forward to visiting again soon
We have had the most fantastic week here in you lovely house. The playroom is fab. We have had lots of wonderful food, played lots of games. Thank you
We've had a lovely week - kids loved the table football & carpet bowls. There is enough to do to keep the family happy - crabbing, the beach, crazy golf & pier. We even discovered the playground on our visit to Southwold this time, by the Church opposite! Kids also loved the Maize Maze. Had the best lasagne and pizzas at Enzo's, and also a warm and very chatty welcome. We took a trip to Thorpeness for the boating lake & sampled Adnams finest from the pubs! A great house well equipped with everything a family needs; plus a warm welcome on arrival with emergency provisions!
A great property, will definitely book again
Our third holiday in Southwold and definitely the best place we have stayed in. Lovely accomadation and a proper kitchen to cook in - you even supplied a tea cosy - we bring one but didn't need to this year! We loved the central location and the little garden - a suntrap, even when it was too windy to sit on the beach. Thanks for such a great retreat - we will be back!
This is our first return to Southwold for many years and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Your house is beautiful with so much room for us all to spread out. The football table was a massive hit, the beds were comfy, the kitchen spacious and well equipped and the welcome pack lovely. Thank you so much
The property was lovely, ideal for a family. Its location is ideal for our teenage children to have the freedom to explore the town without us. The house was clean and really nicely presented..
