Make your way up 10 steps to the front door of the impressive property and enter to find accommodation with high ceilings and large windows. From the entrance hall, wander through to the lounge to settle back on the soft seating and watch TV or lose yourselves in the views. Whip up meals for your friends and family in the kitchen, then them in the dining room, which has French windows on to a balcony, where you can look out towards the sea. There is also a WC downstairs. Head up to the floor above to a family shower room, with a washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a king-size bedroom, with en-suite bathroom, and a double bedroom, with en-suite shower room. There is also a family bedroom, encompassing a double bed and a pair of bunks. There is no outside space with this property but guests are right opposite the green and close to the beach. Parking is on the street, subject to availability.
Grab your buckets and crabbing lines and walk less than 1 mile down to Southwold Harbour. Here you can go crabbing, buy fresh seafood from shacks and take the rowing boat ferry over to Walberswick, which also has a lovely beach. Walk 0.5 miles in the other direction to amble out along the pier, experience the under-the-pier show and go boating on the lake.
