Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

A very clean, well equipped flat with a quirky exterior but everything you need inside! Spacious and welcoming. The large fan supplied came in handy to move the air around, as no through breeze was available due to two windows unable to be opened... A very restful few days break to recharge our batteries, reading, walking and eating out. Lots of good food places within walking distance - Cafe 51, The Pier, The Bell at Walberswick, The Harbour Inn, The Little Fish Shop amongst others. The Crown and The Swan also do meals, but we haven't tried them yet. And a BIG must is a gelato...
