The design of Silver Shore has been lovingly undertaken by the owners with easy-living and an indoor/outdoor vibe. Inside the cottage, the owners have utilised the on-trend colour palette of grey and white throughout really adding to the sense of style and luxury.
The real showpiece within the cottage is the generously proportioned open plan room where guests can enjoy cooking, dining and relaxing. Two sets of cleverly installed bi-folding doors allow plenty of natural light to pour through into the room, a real appeal during the summer season where guests can enjoy al-fresco dining in the generous garden. The kitchen provides guests with a large Range cooker, plenty of cupboards and worktop space – the perfect tools for preparing self-catering feasts. For formal dining there’s a fabulous table with comfortable dining chairs or for a more laid-back approach guests can take advantage of the breakfast bar with three stools. After a busy day exploring the beach as well as the High Street boutiques there’s a choice of two areas in which to relax and unwind – the snug at the front of the cottage with a cosy ‘L’ shape sofa and singular chair, the perfect place to ‘switch off’, or for the more social aspect choose the sitting area in the open plan room with its comfy sofa and chairs surrounding the television – just sink down with a glass of wine!
Upstairs Silver Shore continues its contemporary style in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master suite overlooks the rear of the cottage and comprises of a double bed, wardrobes plus a luxury En-Suite with a large rainfall shower as well as an additional shower head. The second bedroom positioned at the front of the cottage also has a double bed and a quirky atlas wall-art. The third bedroom is ideal for the kids with a set of white-framed bunk beds and pops of metallic colour shades within the furnishings. The family bathroom also features on the first floor with luxury white-gloss wall tiles and a large rainfall shower which towers above the bath tub.
A real bonus when booking Silver Shore is the large private parking area at the side of the cottage – it’s big enough for three cars! The cottage is also handily positioned for exploring the beach – just a pleasant stroll away as well as having the High Street and restaurants on hand, with the award winning Blyth Hotel within close proximity.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!
