Description

Perhaps one of Suffolk's best kept secrets, Secret Cottage is discreetly tucked away yet within a stone's throw of the beach. Newly renovated, Secret Cottage has everything you could possibly desire for your next self-catering holiday to the Suffolk coast at Southwold. Designed with the holidaymaker in mind, muted modern interiors really showcase this property in it's best light - greys and whites reflect the coastal location whilst striking light fittings and carefully selected furniture make this a holiday cottage with a difference.

The front door opens onto an open plan living area - the well equipped kitchen will blow you away - a real example of a small but perfectly formed retreat! Here you'll find a double oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge - perfect for cooking up a storm or washing soggy beach towels. A ground floor shower room is again an added bonus. On the first floor, two lovely bedrooms await - each with built in storage, the master bedroom also has a pretty feature fireplace.

You really are so close to the heart of the town when you stay at Secret Cottage. With both the lighthouse and Sole Bay Inn pub at the end of the road - there is so much to explore within walking distance. Coastal walks along the prom, a relaxing cycle or perhaps a paddle in the sea... start dreaming of your relaxing holiday today.

So are you captivated by Secret Cottage's charm? You'd better be quick as this secret won't stay quiet for long! Pub: 100 yards. Shop: 100 yards. Beach 350 yards.

Southwold Pier - It is often said that nothing changes in Southwold. However, the much-acclaimed pier was rebuilt in 2001 and was the first to be constructed in England in over 50 years. It now fits in well with the painted beach huts, promenade and colourful flowerbeds. There is a shop, cafes and an alternative amusement arcade there. The selection of properties' hereabouts makes it an ideal location to stay in Southwold if you require quiet accommodation that is also close to the beach, town centre and the many footpaths across the marshes leading you to the less explored areas of the town.

Reviews

The property was in a very central location, convenient for both the beach and the town centre, although very quiet and tucked away...hence its name!

Mr Alex Maylen,

Secret Cottage was lovely and the hamper left by the owner was very welcome. We would highly recommend this cottage and it is very close to the beach and all amenities.
