Cute as a button, this lovingly furnished one bedroom cottage provides a romantic getaway for two in the popular seaside town of Southwold. Ideally located, Magnolia Cottage is set just around the corner from both the high street and the sea front - just a two minute walk from either! Tucked back from the street and with a pretty Magnolia tree set in the small shingle front garden (hence the name) this is a sweet little cottage perfect for a relaxing break.

Entrance into this quaint abode is via the side door which leads you into the small but perfectly formed kitchen; here you'll find a cooker, microwave, fridge and counter-top freezer. Through into the sitting room/diner where you'll find a welcoming space and more than enough room for two! With two comfy armchairs and a two seater sofa you can enjoy putting your feet up on arrival. The two seater sofa can convert into a sofa bed meaning that if you need a space for an additional guest then this can be arranged - just let us know at time of booking. A dining space to seat two lies to the front of this room. Then it's up to the first floor for the bedroom, which has all the nautical vibes. This one bedroom self-catering cottage has a king sized bed and two built in wardrobes perfect for stowing away your items. A convenient shower room lies just along the landing. Although this is a petite bolt-hole, it is both practical and perfectly formed.

Arguably one of the best things about Magnolia Cottage is its positioning. You can relish in the fact that you're just a stone's throw from both Southwold's sandy beach and the bustling high street! You won't be short of something to do here as you'll find an abundance of boutique shops, cafés, restaurants and delis all on your doorstep. There's a great deal to pack in during your stay... make sure you include a trip up Southwold lighthouse, a tour of the renowned Adnams brewery, try out the 'alternative' amusements on Southwold Pier, or simply pack a picnic and head to the beach! Escape the hustle and bustle of your daily routine and have some 'you time' in the sea air at Magnolia Cottage. Beach: 0.1 miles Shop: 0.1 miles Pub: 0.1 miles

Lovely cosy cottage in a great location. Christmas tree was a thoughtful touch.

Mrs W,

Beautiful location. A lovely cosy cottage with all the home comforts you could wish for. Recommended.

Mr W,

Well situated, small but thoughtfully planned out and tastefully presented.

Mr S,

Lovely stay, and we had a relaxing break with all we needed to help us unwind from the past 18 months. Thank you!

Mrs T,

A fabulous little cottage, perfectly located, well equipped and furnished. A joy to stay at. will definitely come back.

Mr C,

Good overall. Kitchen and bedroom a little cramped. Generally well equipped but no proper tea pot (we had to use the huge coffee pot) and no sensible milk jug (just a tiny one). Had to use the step ladder to reach the plates and other items. It is expensive but so is everywhere else in Southwold.

Mr C,

Excellent property that is centrally located for both the beach and high street. The WIFI is very fast and we had an unexpected bonus of access to both Netflix & Amazon prime. We were unsure how this holiday would go because of covid restrictions which meant some restaurants and pubs were closed and others couldn't serve inside. We needn't have worried though as all our needs were catered for at Magnolia cottage and we also both slept well in the very comfortable king size bed. Hats off to this property owner for providing 5 star accommodation.

Mr G,

Perfect little cottage for a couple of days away. Stones throw from beach shops.

Mrs L,
