Description
At a glance...
Make no compromises - a home from home self-catering holiday with a sprinkle of luxury - a stylish renovation has made this property the ultimate hideway escape in the heart of Southwold.
Soak and Sleep...
Two light and roomy first-floor bedrooms offer the ultimate in cosy luxury - Cotswold Company furniture, high quality fabrics, Sheridan duck down and feather pillows. Just in case you can't quite forget the outside world, there is a Smart TV in each! Calm, neutral tones in the king-size bedded master suite are alongside a bright ensuite shower room, and to enjoy a quiet drink there is a private balcony complete with bistro table and chairs. The second bedroom offers two single beds for flexibility, next to which there is a clean, modern family bathroom with bath, power-shower above, plus washbasin and wc. A conveniently located ground floor cloakroom makes this property ideal for families.
Dine in, Take Out, choices...
A brilliantly-designed kitchen, thoughtfully filled with mod-cons is at the heart of a contemporary open-plan living area. Copious counter and cupboard space is aligned with high-end, quality appliances from brands including Miele & Nespresso. Budding Masterchefs will love the electric oven, induction hob, fridge, separate freezer, microwave and even wine fridge, while those doing the clearing up will definitely appreciate the dishwasher ! If you simply want to sit and watch or perhaps enjoy evening tapas, there are bar stools at a breakfast counter; creating a clever divide between the kitchen and a more formal dining table area. When time comes to relax, there is a cosy sofa and TV area, but honestly you are likely to be torn between which garden to sit in; the front garden to bask in the sun (chairs convert to comfy loungers with cushions) or the rear courtyard which welcomes sun drenched guests to a cool respite sitting in the lush garden making use of stylish patio furniture. Did we mention that the renowned Lord Nelson Pub will take you precisely 1 minute to walk to...
Outside...which one ?
Nothing has been forgotten in the creation of this super holiday cottage which has three separate outdoor areas to escape to; the front private patio where French doors from the lounge area open out to a sunny enclosed garden, or instead venture out through bi-fold doors from the kitchen into the 'secret' rear courtyard - pour yourself a glass of something cool and soak up the laid back Southwold vibes! A charcoal barbecue completes options. For the ultimate room with a view, there's a delightful balcony leading from the master suite; perfect for morning tea or a late-night star gazing.
