Why We Love This Property: Not only do we, of course, love Happy Days name, but we love the private outside area which leads on to the mews style courtyard. We think it’s a fantastic breakfast spot where guests can read the paper and enjoy a cup of coffee. Feeling communal, guests may find themselves chatting to locals or other holiday goers, who can trade tips on the best places to eat explore and shop are in Southwold.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!
