Located on the high street as you enter Southwold, this well-equipped cottage has a kitchen, sitting room and a downstairs bathroom, cleverly designed for the space. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a double and a single; both are carpeted, spacious and prettily decorated.

Outside, a pretty cottage garden is a great place to relax during your summer holiday.

A digital television with DVD player, CD player, radio and books.

There is a gas cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Please note there is a step up out of the kitchen to the back of the cottage.

Bathroom:
The downstairs bathroom has a three-quarter bath with shower over.
WC, hand basin, bidet and storage cupboards.

Bedrooms:
One 5' double and one single bedroom upstairs.

There is a small shared enclosed paved yard with next door, then a private larger courtyard garden. The lower section has chairs and a table for four people and the upper section has been planted with cottage garden style plants for a relaxed and informal feel. Garden furniture is provided and there is storage available for bikes. Car parking is available in the streets close by.

The area:
Southwold is a delightful seaside town: its colourful beach huts, stylish shops and restaurants, lovely sandy beach, lighthouse, award-winning pier and atmospheric harbour, not to mention Adnams Brewery, all add to its timeless appeal.

Notes:

Please be aware that the stairs in this cottage are steep but there is a good hand rail. The first floor, floor level necessitates that most people need to duck their heads going up and down stairs. The stairs are carpeted. At the top of the stairs, it is necessary to step straight off the stairs and into the bedrooms, as there is no landing at the top of the stairs. A handrail is provided on one side of the stairs and at the top of the stairs.

Please also be aware that there is a change of level between the sitting room and the kitchen.

Bed linen and towels are provided and also a welcome pack.

Cot and a highchair can be provided at a small charge.

One small dog is welcome but please not upstairs or on the furniture.

The cottage is centrally heated and has WiFi.

Reviews

We had a lovely stay at Peewit Cottage- clean and comfortable we felt right at home. It's full of character and in a great location of Southwold. Being so close to the main road, it can be a little noisy. The serve from Heritage Hideaways was great and we will definitely be back!

Mr Banos,

A lovely cottage, well equipped with a lovely garden. This is our second stay here and it won't be our last!
