Deckchairs is located close by to all amenities and is an ideal base for a holiday. The kitchen and dining area is a good social space and French doors lead to the large garden. The woodburner makes this property an ideal choice for a winter escape and there is also the much sought-after private parking space for one car. Shop: 150 yards Pub: 150 yards.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

The property was comfortable, tastefully furnished and thoughtfully equipped (even extension leads). The gated parking space at the end of the garden was a bonus. The garden offers a good playing area for youngsters and also for barbecues (not supplied). The town and the seafront are both a few minutes walk away. All-in-all, an ideal property.

Deckchairs is a delightful holiday home that is clean, thoughtfully-decorated and well-maintained. The beach and Pier can be reached easily on foot within minutes. This was our first visit to Southwold, and we are very happy that we chose Deckchairs as our base of operations for our stay.

Great property, very nicely furnished and convenient for town or beach. Large garden is great for the dog to run around in safely as it’s enclosed. Parking space in rear of garden is also a great bonus.

The welcome pack was a lovely touch. There were lots of helpful essentials such as dishwasher tablets, cleaning supplies and a shopping trolley. We loved the location, it was so close to the playground and only 10 minutes walk to the beach. The parking spot was really helpful and felt secure. All in all lovely stay!
