With quirky levels and angles, Blackshore Corner has been designed with its surroundings in mind. The calming tones of the interior create a haven for holiday makers returning from days exploring Suffolk. Exposed beams run through the property, complementing the wooden stairs.

Upstairs, guests will find the open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. Floor to ceiling windows and door flow out onto the cleverly sheltered balcony that overlooks Southwold Harbour, adjoining to the bright and inviting lounge. Guests have the choice of eating in the kitchen, on the balcony or at the six seater dining table which sits in the centre of the house. Fab location. Very quirky property. Nice and spacious and well laid out. Balcony in great position for enjoying an morning coffee or afternoon/evening drink. Very enjoyable stay.

Mr M,

This is a unique property, in a wonderful location set on the river Blythe and about half a mile from the sea. The town of Southwold is about a mile from the house and can be reached by walking across the meadows (a lovely walk). The property is very well equipped. It has many levels and therefore has lots of stairs, however we managed even though we are OAP’s! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
