A nice compact and welcoming little cottage...well located for the town, beach and harbour.Ms K Thompson - 27th February 2017
Excellent location.Mrs K Thompson - 12th June 2016
The Bolt Hole is well situated in a quiet neighbourhood overlooking the marshes, a short walk from the beach and the town centre. The Suffolk Secrets team were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are lovely local walks across the marshes, along the beach and estuary and across the old railway bridge to Walberswick. The Alfred Correy lifeboat museum is very interesting and the fish stalls in the harbour are good quality and value for money. Good local places to visit include the pretty town of Woodbridge with its working tide mill and interesting local shops, Aldeburgh with its Scallop shell sculpture on the beach, Orford with its historic castle and church, the strange 1920's planned village of Thorpeness and Dunwich with it's little museum about the town lost to the sea and excellent RSPB reserve. The house and gardens at Summer Leighton are also worth a visit.Ms Shirley Harris - 15th May 2016
