A traditional home in the heart of Southwold. This fabulous, well equipped property, is an excellent choice for a self catering holiday on the Suffolk coast.
This much loved holiday cottage offers well proportioned and comfortable accommodation over two floors. The ground floor sitting room is beautifully furnished with a couple of sofas and fabulous patio doors onto the lawned garden. The kitchen has been recently refurbished and now comes complete with a dishwasher and everything to meet your catering needs during your holiday. There’s a twin bedroom on the ground floor and another two bedrooms, one with an ensuite and one with a cloakroom on the first floor.
Blackbird Cottage is perfect for a family holiday with lovely lawned gardens and private parking. The beach at Southwold is just a short walk away… if the sun is shining, there’s no better place to be, pack up a picnic and head to the sands with the bucket and spades… you could of course just grab some fish and chips - they always taste better by the seaside!
Southwold is famous for its iconic pier and lighthouse… take a stroll along the prom past the pretty coloured beach huts or wander around excellent independent shops, be sure to call in for a pint of Adnams beer before heading home!

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!
