Ash Tree Cottage is a newly built holiday cottage located in central Southwold very near to the popular Adnams Cellar and Kitchen Shop and nearly opposite St Edmunds Church and Bartholomew Green. This ultra-cool self-catering cottage is a fantastic choice for those who are looking for a serene holiday base in a great location for experiencing the best of Southwold. Inside the cottage has a crisp white and pristine feel with splashes of funky bold colours utilised in all rooms. The open plan kitchen and dining area comes with solid oak flooring, white gloss kitchen units and high quality appliances with the dining table positioned right next to the large window allowing lots of natural light. Bi-folding doors lead to the outside space where there is paving around the cottage and garden furniture. On the first floor three cosy bedrooms are presented very well with the master bedroom having a super king size bed, spot lighting with a dimmer switch for ultimate comfort and a great night's sleep. Ash Tree Cottage has it all - a cosy woodburner ideal for extra warmth during winter breaks, private parking for one car and two bathrooms - you really will be spoilt during your coastal holiday. Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

The property suited our needs very well. A great base for family holiday.
So comfortable - great location, central but quiet. Beds are super comfy, the downstairs is a lovely place to relax and unwind. Next year will be our third visit!
