Look forward to a memorable getaway in this red-brick cottage in the sunny seaside town of Southwold, Suffolk. Tucked away in the bustling centre of this historic town, this two-bedroom home is ideal for a restful getaway for up to four guests. You will be just a short 100-metre walk away from all the shops, cafes and restaurants Southwold has to offer, as well as being only half a mile away from the town’s iconic sandy beach with its traditional coloured beach huts.
Enter the property and find yourself in the entrance hall, the perfect place to store all your walking gear and beachwear. From here, you can make use of a handy ground-floor WC. If you’ve been to one of the local seafood outlets, head to the open-plan kitchen/dining area, make use of the fridge and start conjuring up your evening meal. Take a few steps up and relax in the cosy lounge. Admire the interesting feature wall, complete with a mural of a map of Southwold and make yourselves comfortable in front of the Smart TV. Head upstairs to find two equally inviting bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, and the other with two zip-and-link beds that can be converted to a super-king-size bed on request. A family bathroom is also situated on the first floor. While there is no outside space at this house, it is within 50 metres of open, green space when you fancy some fresh air.
While here, you can take a scenic stroll to the pier, with its unique shops, eateries and the famous under-the-pier show. There is also easy access to the common, and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can take the ferry or row a boat from Southwold Harbour to the quaint coastal village of Walberswick and its charming, cobbled streets, just 1 mile away.
