Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!"

We have stayed at Pebbles Cottage for quite a few years now and we always try to stay here when we come to Southwold. We always come in the autumn so when returning to the cottage after a day out it is very nice to be greeted with the warmth of the Ager. The cottage is ideal for two people and is convenient for the shops and eating places. Hopefully we will return next year.

We stayed at Pebbles Cottage for a week during the October Half Term Holiday and loved every minute of it. We’ve been going to Southwold for many years and even spent our honeymoon there. As a result we have visited many cottages and we have to say this is one of the nicest, cleanest and most comfortable cottages we’ve ever stayed in. It is a tiny cottage but it is arranged so well that it felt spacious for a baby and dog too. We can’t wait to return and thank the owners for a wonderful week away.

The property and location were excellent, the only downside was the lack of access to the garden area at the rear, which apparently is not for communal use according to the residents of the next door property.
