Step inside to find most of the ground-floor, which has underfloor heating, is a creatively designed, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can spread out and relax. Recline on the soft seating while you catch up on your favourite programme on TV. Amble over to the kitchen, which is fitted with everything you might need during your stay, to prepare light snacks and big meals for your party to enjoy through in the conservatory/diner space. Open the doors in here on warm days to bring in a sea breeze. There is also a WC downstairs. Head upstairs to discover your king-size and single bedrooms, both of which look out over the common. There is also a family bathroom at this level. The courtyard is the perfect place to while away summer evenings with a glass of wine. This cottage provides parking for one car.
Enjoy the beautiful beach here in Southwold or head over to Walberswick, less than 1 mile away if you walk then take the rowing boat ferry, or Covehithe, a 5.5-mile drive away. Here you can see the ruins of a church with a smaller church set inside. Head out along the Suffolk Heritage Coast in the other direction to Dunwich, 9 miles away, where you can walk through the heath and spend time on the sand.
