Packed full of period features, Granville House has been carefully furnished to make it a truly wonderful holiday home at any time of year. One lovely feature of the house has to be the dual aspect woodburning stove. Viewed in both the sitting and dining room, it not only provides a warming element in the cooler months, it also helps to connect the two rooms in the house; whether you’re completing a puzzle at the table or merely catching up with your favourite TV show. With a vibrant mix of independent and well-known high street names – if you’re looking for a specific item, you’ll find it here! Foodies will love the bakeries and delicatessen, as well as the greengrocers; why not cook up a storm with locally sourced Suffolk goodies? To add a special element to your holiday, we recommend booking a brewery tour at nearby Adnams, or perhaps you could sample some of their famous ales and one of their many pubs within the town.

So to truly get a flavour of Southwold life, book your stay at Granville House today! Pub: 100 yards, Shop: 100 yards.

Just a note to thank you for making your house available for us to rent. It has been perfect - so well located and equipped. We have enjoyed the delights of Southwold which we have visited a number of times in the past. Our short break this time has been the first break away from home since March which made it particularly welcome. Our best wishes.
