Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

We enjoyed staying in Ons Huis on our first visit to Southwold. The property was in easy walking distance of the beach and shops/pubs, while the car parking spot was a big bonus. It is very well equipped and dog friendly, we would definitely return. Loved Southwold, it's a special place.
