Curlew Cottage is a deceptively spacious property, decorated and furnished to a high standard with 4 bedrooms providing comfortable holiday accommodation for up to 6 guests. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, one double with en-suite and one twin. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, one double and one twin.

There is a family shower room downstairs, together with a well equipped kitchen and a large lounge/diner overlooking the back garden. There are two large leather sofas and a dining table and seating. A second staircase leads from the lounge up to a snug where there are bean bags, games, toys and a TV.

In the garden there is a table, chairs and umbrella together with outside lighting. The garden is fully enclosed by a fence.

There is a bus stop across the road with buses going to Southwold in one direction and Lowestoft in the other.  Southwold is an old fashioned seaside town with a reputation for good food and shops.  It has a lighthouse, pier and its own brewery and a beautiful sandy beach lined with brightly painted beach huts.  Curlew Cottage is located on the National Trail and Suffolk Coastal Path providing walks from the door.  The reed beds in Reydon and Buss Creek are popular with bird watchers.  A short drive, or cycle, down the coast is the RSPB reserve at Minsmere.

Great place to stay. Very roomy, clean and tidy. Lovely garden front and back. Ideal for the bus as the bus stop is just outside the property. Plus a shop yards away and a pub in walking distance

Mrs G,

Beautiful cottage. Plenty of space and so many extras there really is everything you could need including a draw of umbrellas! We had a great time and within easy walking distance of Southwold and its amenities we will definitely be back.

Mrs C,

Great cottage near to Southwold. A nice walk into town. We had a very lazy week. Beds were comfy and the singles are definitely suitable for adults. Would recommend.

Mr H,

Tardis like property and absolutely beautiful. A really informative guide too. It is a 20 minute stroll into Southwold and around 45 mins to the harbour. Overall, we had a lovely well overdue family get together.

Mrs J,
