Add a beach hut to complete your stay and help you make the most of the Suffolk seaside. Poppy's Kabin beach hut is an adorable beach hut on Pakefield beach which makes for stress free days at the beach, book here.
Lowestoft, situated at the most easterly point in the British Isles, was developed in the mid 1800's into a fashionable Victorian seaside resort by Sir Morton Peto, the entrepreneur and civil engineer who built Nelson's Column and the Houses of Parliament. Wellington Esplanade was a centrepiece of Peto's development of Lowestoft. The town has two piers located on the south beach. The southerly pier, called Claremont Pier, originally served as a port of call for steamers traveling to and from London. It now provides a music venue, amusement arcade, roller-disco, fish and chip caf? and a separate, contemporary fresh fish and seafood restaurant and bar. There are many places of interest in the area including Pleasurewood Hills theme park to the north of the town, the East Anglia Transport Museum, Africa Alive, Oulton Broad, Belle Vue Park and Nicholas Everett Park with its pet corner. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has a residency at the Marina Theatre in town. There are three blue flag beaches, several good pubs and restaurants, ten-pin bowling, indoor swimming-pool and sports complex, riding school, cinema, theatre and an annual festival. The Norfolk broads and the pretty towns of Beccles and Southwold are less than 30 minutes away by car, as is the excitement of Great Yarmouth's pleasure beach and unique hippodrome theatre.

A nice property in a lovely location with a super sea view!
This house is so beautiful, so many lovely touches, quality decor and stunning bedrooms and bathrooms, and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. The views are stunning, I could look out over the sea all day. We absolutely loved staying here, it felt like we were staying at a friend's, it was perfect for our family and little dog, we certainly plan to return.
We were 3 generations with young children and the accomodation, facilities and closeness to the beach were perfect. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and we are hoping to stay again in the future
