Enjoyable holiday in Halesworth. Quirky little cottage and garden, very comfortable. Found cottage very clean and well equipped. All you need for an enjoyable holiday.
We had a lovely weeks holiday based in Halesworth, with plenty to do and see. Excellent property and lovely cottage garden. White Hart good for food and atmosphere. Days out in Southwold, Snape Maltings & Woodbridge.
We have enjoyed our stay here although the sun had got his hat on, the rain washed us on most days too. This little house was a joy to come back to after our lovely days out and we thank you for a good week. Now time to go back to our lovely North Yorkshire & we will always enjoy thinking back to our happy days here.
We have had a very enjoyable stay in this delightful cottage. Halesworth has proven to be an excellent center for exploring this part of Suffolk. The weather has been so good we have spent as much time as possible at the seaside enjoying a variety of coastal walks. We did get to Bressingham to enjoy the gardens and the late spring colours. However the garden here at the cottage was also a delight with a variety of birds to enjoy. Many thanks for the Prosecco.
Lovely homely cottage. Ideal location for visiting Southwold, Aldeburgh etc. Beautiful walks in this area. Halesworth a very nice town and will return.
Thank you for a lovely stay at this lovely cottage. This is our third stay in this part of Suffolk but our first stay here. We have enjoyed Halesworth, Aldebrugh Southwold & Walberswick. Lovely pubs in Halesworth for dinner. Cottage has everything you need. Thank you for the Prosecco.
We have had a very enjoyable week in this lovely cottage and the weather has been perfect too. The section of 'goodies' which welcomed us were an unexpected but much appreciated surprise so thanks for those. The delightful garden is certainly a sun trap and like the cottage has a ll the comforts you could wish for. We have stayed in many cottages during our long lives and few have matched the standard of this one!
Perfect cottage, ideally situated, cosy and clean with all mod cons. Flowers, cakes and greeting card a lovely touch.
Although we have been to this area many times, we had not visited Halesworth - a lovely town with all the amenities. The cottage is very comfortable and the bread, eggs, milk and cake very welcome. Wonderful to just sit and relax and listened to the birds.
We have enjoyed our week in this cosy cottage and been blessed with warm sunny weather most days. Everything we needed was here and the eclectic style of the place was to our taste. A mini Versailles! We had trips to Norwich - go off centre - Ickworth, the Aircraft museum near Bungay, Dunwich, Southwold & Aldeburgh and enjoyed chilling out in the garden and doing Halesworth. This late holiday to recover from the school holidays was great.
Excellent stay thanks. Very comfortable including nice garden to sit in on the warm sunny days. Had great days out at Aldeburgh, Southwold and Woodbridge. Had an excellent train ride Halesworth to Woodbridge but under estimated the walk to Sutton Hoo - very much worth a visit. Thought Halesworth was an absolute gem of a Village/small town.
Little gem of a place. Loved the garden, great to be able to sit out after a day of exploring. Had a bus trip to Norwich and a train ride to Ipswich, nice to have this on your doorstep, and not be driving all the time. Cottage well equipped with all we needed, and very clean and comfortable.
it had everything we needed and it was quiet and well kept with a beautiful garden to sit in. It is well placed to reach everywhere we wanted to get to.
Charming old world property in lovely village.
This has been our first visit to Suffolk and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. This cottage has been a charming based from which to explore. It has provided everything we need we have felt very much at home. We have loved coming back after a busy day of exploring to sit in the lovely garden which is a peaceful haven in which to relax.
4 nights at this lovely cottage, comfortable, quirky, love all the finishing touches. Garden is exquisite especially the roses, we enjoyed feeding the birds and keeping the water topped up. Lovely location for us as a family member has moved to Halesworth from up North. I am sure we will come again, thank you for leaving the Welcome Pack.
