Nestled in the Suffolk countryside and boasting beautiful farmland views, The Dairy offers an idyllic retreat for up to 4 guests. With picturesque surroundings and an easy drive to the coast (just 10 minutes by car) The Dairy offers a fantastic self-catering retreat to enjoy all that Suffolk has to offer. This beautiful barn conversion has retained an abundance of characterful charm with original timber rafters and exposed brickwork, however these features have been fused tastefully with modern furnishings to ensure the property has all the comforts and commodities you need for your self-catering stay. The Dairy is the perfect holiday cottage for a family or pair of couples looking for a break away to enjoy the Suffolk coast and countryside.

The Dairy boasts luxuries such as underfloor heating, leather sofas and a bedroom to bathroom ratio, so you can truly relax in style. The modern kitchen is the perfect place to whip up culinary delights during your self-catering stay in Suffolk. An open plan sitting room cum dining room is equipped with comfortable seating, TV with DVD player, dining table to seat four, and a fantastic selection of books and board games.

With 2 plush bedrooms, The Dairy offers an ideal bolthole to escape from your everyday routine and recharge those batteries! Upstairs you will find one double bedroom with ensuite, and one twin bedroom, along with the family bathroom – meaning you are spoilt with a bedroom to bathroom ratio for your stay.

Every detail has been thought of by the owners to provide an exceptionally well-equipped self-catering stay. Outside is a private patio with barbeque and furniture for The Dairy and then on to a shared garden (with the neighbouring holiday barn) which is laid to lawn and offers a fantastic space to relax.

Picturesque farmland surroundings make for perfect walks and cycle rides, however if you’re looking to explore a bit further afield, then the Suffolk Heritage Coast is just a short drive away. Fields of barley, wildflowers, and beautiful Suffolk sunsets mean that you are sure to enjoy a very scenic stay and there is wonderful wildlife and birdlife too, with the owners of The Dairy being part of the Higher Level of the Environmental Stewardship Scheme which encourages native plants and improves habitats for wildlife, birds and insects. Depending on the time of year, you’ll hear skylarks singing and the swallows sweeping by. If you want to explore the farm further then there are tracks and paths to wind your way along. Perhaps you’ll catch a glimpse of a sparrow-hawk or spot the rabbits making a dash for their burrows, plus much more! Kessingland beach and the award-winning sandy beach at Lowestoft are very close, and the ever-popular seaside town of Southwold, with its renowned beach and pier, lies an easy 15 minute drive away. Pub: 0.8 miles Shop: 1.7 miles

I was very impressed by the attention to detail and the high standard of the properties. We rented both the Granary and the Dairy and were very happy with what was provided. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay with excellent facilities. There was even outside toys and games for the children and dvds and games galore, catering for all tastes. I would highly recommend you stay here. Excellent from start to finish. There are lots of leaflets showing all the local places to visit and some of the restaurants etc. I would highly recommend you use them as we found them to be very useful. We even used the local florist and they were brilliant.
