This lovely remote property is ideal for an inter-generational family stay, or a getaway with friends. It’s the perfect spot from which to explore Suffolk, go on little adventures and really bond as a unit. This cottage welcomes dogs, so you can bring your four-legged friends. You’ll be in the middle of the woods, so relish the fairy-tale feeling.
Upon entering the property you’ll find a lounge with an open fire and exposed beams for a timeless, peaceful feeling. It’s a great space for film nights or evenings of board games. The kitchen is well equipped and, like the dining room, has a view onto the garden. They’re well lit through large windows and make you feel connected to the natural world. You’ll see a family bathroom on the ground floor with a bath for long soaks. There’s a king-sized bedroom with a wooden finish and an en-suite on the ground floor, and as you head upstairs you’ll notice a super-king-size bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and a twin bedroom for the children. This property has a large garden, with a section of fenced lawn, so dogs can play safely.
You can walk around the woods straight from your front door to get some fresh air and exercise, and there are plenty of opportunities for cyclists, too. You can do several day trips or afternoon trips to attractions within easy distance of the cottage, including Benacre National Nature Reserve (3.5 miles), Africa Alive Zoo (5 miles) and Covehithe Beach (4 miles). If you need any supplies, try Wrentham (2.5 miles) for shops and pubs.
