Eclectic, contemporary and on the cusp of the coast. Located on the popular Blyth View development, Lime Tree Cottage has had a total interior transformation to bring it into the 21st century. Bold colours and industrial pieces, married with statement artwork and furniture makes this an instagram-worthy injection of London cool just minutes from the Suffolk coast.

The front door opens onto a small hallway, with cloakroom at one end. Leading off from here is the generous sitting room. A large L-shaped sofa centres around the woodburner and Smart TV; a great spot to chill with friends and family. You'll also find a retro turntable! The kitchen/diner is accessed via the sitting room and thanks to fresh, white subway tiles and a coat of sage green paint, looks utterly transformed. A dining table made of reclaimed scaffolding with bench seating, seats 10 and is a great spot for a big group meal, or board game competition.

Upstairs, three bedrooms await. The large twin room is at the very top of the stairs and features two single beds. Further down the hall you will find the two double rooms: each with a king size bed, deep green walls and copper open hanging rails – an industrial touch that we just love. All three bedrooms share a family bathroom on the first floor, which comes complete with bath and overhead shower.

The great benefit of holidaying at Blyth View is not just Lime Tree Cottage itself, but the facilities the site has to offer. Guests staying here have access to the shared indoor heated swimming pool and small gymnasium: excellent rainy day alternatives. You'll simply find access details within the property! Although just outside of the village of Blythburgh, you can access the village pub, The White Hart, in just under 5 minutes by car. Similarly, the popular coastal towns of Southwold and Walberswick are just 15 minutes down the road; be sure to stop off at Old Hall on the way - there's a lovely cafe, maize maze in summer and gym running regular fitness classes available to book online.

So for a getaway from the city, or a holiday close to the Suffolk coast: book your stay at 29 Blyth View without delay! Pub: 1 mile, Shop: 1.5 miles.

COVID update for use of Swimming Pool & Leisure Facilities

New Online Booking System

From 25th July 2020, the facilities can only be used by booking a session, with no exceptions.

Reducing the number of people using the facilities at any one time is key in helping to manage social distancing, so we are taking this opportunity to trial an online booking process. This means that each household/property will be able to book one private session for each of the activities (swimming, workout and table tennis/pool table) per day.

That’s one household or family from anyone residence at a time in the swimming pool with a maximum of 8 people including small children. In the gym, it’s 2 people from any one residence at any one time and in the games room, it’s 6 people from any one residence.

Each user will be required to provide name and contact details in order to book. This also means that we will be able to supply this data should it be formally required by the local NHS Test & Trace teams.

During the busy main holiday period, the following will apply:

 45-minute sessions for any activity with a 15-minute gap before the next booking to allow users to exit

 Bookings can be made up to 5 days in advance

 Bookings can be cancelled or changed, but people shouldn’t just book and then not turn up; that’s not fair

Note that these parameters will be reviewed regularly. For example, when the estate is quieter outside of school holidays, we could make the sessions 1 hour with booking up to 7 days in advance. The plan is to trial this system from July to September. Ultimately, we are hoping that this will become a permanent solution for our leisure facility management, maintenance and safety.

Bookings can be made from 20th July via
