This cosy, two-storey, characterful property in the pretty village of Blythburgh is ideal for families or friends looking for a peaceful holiday in a rural setting still within easy reach of the coastline. Blythburgh village is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just inland from Southwold and close to the Heritage Coast of Suffolk. There are walks from the door, including a scenic 2.5-mile walk following the River Blyth downstream towards Walberswick.

A delightful Grade II listed cottage with character features throughout and all the everyday comforts to ensure a relaxing stay. As soon as you enter, you will notice the beautiful, exposed ceiling beams that create a cosy feel. On the ground floor is a sitting room where you can unwind on comfortably seating and watch your favourite box sets on the Smart TV. A contemporary kitchen has everything to make meal preparation a cinch, and you can linger over dinner in the light and airy dining area. The cottage-style steps lead to the first floor with a family bathroom and three bedrooms: one double, one twin and one with a single bed. Outside is a treat with a two-tiered garden - on the first tier is a patio area with garden furniture, and the second tier is all lawned.

Blythburgh is a pretty, unspoilt village located three miles from Walberswick and just over four miles from Southwold. Southwold has plenty of attractions for a traditional seaside break, including The Denes Beach, a lighthouse, a pier and attractive colourful beach huts. There are plenty of places for walkers to enjoy, including the paths through the ancient woodlands of Captain’s Wood (19 miles) and around the reserves at RSPB MInsmere (7 miles). Really nice cottage, brilliant location with easy access to Southwold and Walberswick. Lovely big kitchen and cosy living room. Highly recommend the tour of the church on the Thursday. The week flew over.
