beautifully restored cottage, very clean and comfortable, will definitely return

Mrs C,

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. Absolutely perfect and so clean. Our first visit to Suffolk and we will be back.

Helen and R,

We have had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage, it is so clean and comfortable. We visited some nice places, Southwold. Lowestoft and more. We have had meals at some lovely pubs. The Dennington Queen (very nice) and The Cretingham Bell (we visited twice, was lovely). When we are back in the area will definitely stay again.

Mr Michael E,

What a lovely stay we have had in your beautiful cottage. It was our first visit to Suffolk and what a beautiful part of the country it is. We especially loved the river estuaries.

Past Customer,

14th February 2022 Back as promised. Still as lovely and everything worked just as well. We will be back again. Jean Lockett and Owain Franks

Past Customer,

Thank you for such a lovely stay in a beautifully renovated cottage in peaceful setting. The cottage is well equipped, clean and cosy. The king sized bed is really comfy. Greta little garden with good table and chairs. Have enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Dennington Queen and great fish and chips at Mrs T's on the harbour front at Southwold. Lovely trips also to Beccles & Walberswick. - Julia, Paul & Sarah

Past Customer,

Wow, what a lovely house, very comfortable and very easy to be in. Everything has been thought through in terms of ease of use and comfort. We have had a fabulous few days and will be back!

Past Customer,

We've had a great stay in Suffolk and the cottage was the perfect place to land at the end of each day. Really comfortable and well equipped.

Lauren & L,

Love the history of this lovely cottage. A great place to stay in a very quiet part of Suffolk. Was some great walks locally (we were lucky with the weather). Had a very good meal at the Cretingham Bell. Generally had a very peaceful and relaxed few days.

Jason & J,

We've thoroughly enjoyed our four days in Suffolk - and especially enjoyed staying in this beautifully renovated cottage. Excellent meals at Dennington Queen.

Ross & G,

We have absolutely loved staying at this beautiful cottage! The modern facilities somehow blend in with the ancient structure of the house, making for a truly unique and fascinating stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen excellently equipped and the garden is enjoyable to sit in. All in all a very relaxing place to stay - we will certainly be coming back! 'The Dennington Queen' is thoroughly recommended for outstanding meals.

John & S,

The cottage is lovely with lots of really nice touches but keeping the character of such an old building. Comfy beds & sofa, good oven. Love the outside area - we had breakfast & dinner outside a few times. In the local area we had a great visit to Framlingham Castle, Southwold. Recommend Lowestoft for the nice beach (south beach). Also Beccles open air lido was great but needed pre-booking. We also tried canoeing with the canoe man from Beccles lido which was fun. Locally we ate at the Crown Hotel in Framlingham (cheap evening deal Monday - Friday was good), Prince of India (nice takeaway) and The Old Mill here in Saxstead (friendly service, food ok, cheap pub grub). The Dennington Queen looked nice but book in if you want to try it. Thanks for a lovely stay! The Harvey Family

Mrs Eleanor H,

A blissfully tranquil setting and impressed by the way Perry Acres has been so thoughtfully renovated and with attention to detail, many thanks

Past Customer,

What a beautiful cottage! We love the character and what a sympathetic renovation! We were very comfortable here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We appreciate how well equipped the property is. Thank you so much for the attention to detail. Love the bathroom! The Scalons

Dr Mark S,

We wanted to take a vacation in Suffolk as we had really enjoyed the area after spending a Bank Holiday weekend there two years ago. We found this newly renovated cottage located near the very lovely town of Framlingham. It is very well designed and has all the equipment we needed which is worth noting as we always find something missing in holiday rentals. It has a good-sized garden with plenty of light as it is south-facing, perfect for lunch or breakfast if the weather permits it. Framlingham is only a short drive away and has everything you need in terms of food shopping and restaurants. There is also some vineyard nearby that can be visited (first time we did such a thing in the UK). If you want to visit the seaside there are several options 30-40 min away such as Southwold and Aldeburgh (our favourite). We really enjoyed our time there and would love to come back!

Mr G,
