Cragside is a comfortable ground floor apartment situated in a large house on Crag Path. Although there is no direct sea view, the property is just a stone's throw from the beach and sea and the High Street with all its wonderful shops and restaurants. Cragside has been completed to a very high standard and features antique furniture typical of the Aldeburgh style. Shop: 200 yards Pub: 150 yards.
Sitting Room/Dining Area: TV, DVD, table and chairs.
Kitchen: Electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: Twin beds, TV.
Bedroom 2: Single bed.
Bathroom: Bath, overbath shower, washbasin and wc, washer dryer.
Heating: Gas heating.

Aldeburgh and the surrounding area has inspired many authors and poets in the past but the most famous son of the town is Benjamin Britten, who founded the Aldeburgh Music Festival, which now has worldwide acclaim and is held every year in June at Snape Maltings. Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. Boating is popular on the nearby Alde estuary where a large variety of yachts can be seen at summer weekends.

Lovely to be so near the beach and yet be so quiet. The cottage was wonderfully cosy on an October weekend. We enjoyed the antique furniture, the fire-place, books and pictures. Really lovely, relaxing hideaway! Thank you! A great holiday: a lovely place to stay and excellent service from all staff at Suffolk Secrets.Ms A Orange - 29th October 2015
