A delightful single-storey cottage in the beautiful Suffolk countryside is ideal for couples looking for a peaceful holiday. The property has a hot tub from which to enjoy stargazing or unwind after a day exploring the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can enjoy walking and cycling, and for horse riding enthusiasts, there is Valley Farm Equestrian Centre (9 miles).

An attractive property that makes full use of the lovely beams and studwork of the original stables. The combination of rustic charm and contemporary comfort makes this an ideal romantic retreat. A slope with a handrail leads to the front door, and then you step into the attractive open-plan living and dining area. The cosy seating area has plush leather sofas to snuggle up on while you watch TV and a wood burner to keep off the chill in the cooler months. The kitchen the expected everyday appliances to rustle up romantic dinners to share at the dining table. Two zip-and-link single beds await at the end of the day, and a bathroom with a wet room shower, bath and WC completes the offer of this lovely rural getaway. French doors open onto the patio area, where you can enjoy the hot tub or eat alfresco at the table and chairs. A large, mainly lawned garden and a games room are shared with two other cottages.

Head to the coast and enjoy a traditional day at the seaside in the pretty town of Aldeburgh (6 miles). Enjoy a walk along the beach, galleries, independent shops and some of Suffolk's best fish and chips! If you long for a walk in the woods, head to Captain's Wood (7 miles) or Rendlesham Forest (10).5 miles) and explore the ancient trees on some well-marked trails. Discover more about the area's history with a visit to Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum (14.5 miles).
