Speaking of the river, you can also embark on a river cruise from Snape Maltings (1 mile), a wonderful way to spot wildlife and see the scenery without exerting too much energy. The rushing river leads all the way down to Aldeburgh (5.5 miles) where you’ll also find your nearest beach for those hot and sunny days.
