Enjoy a holiday with your family and dog in this lovely bungalow. Situated in the Suffolk village of Snape, you’ll have access to beaches, days out, wildlife and much more. It’s the perfect spot for a family looking to explore the beauty of the UK.

As you enter the property you’ll find a large lounge with sliding glass doors which lead to the garden. This allows natural light into the room. If the sun is shining, take a drink and a book to the conservatory, a bright room with a sitting area great for socialising or quiet time, as you prefer. This space can also be used for dining. The kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you’ll need for rustling up big family meals or packing sandwiches for picnics. You’ll have two bedrooms, both comfortable and restful. One is a double and the other can either be organised as a twin or a double, according to your requirements. To the rear of the property is a large garden, enclosed with hedges so your dog and children can roam and play freely. There’s a table and chairs on a small patio, which would be perfect for morning cups of coffee.

Snape is an ideal spot for families who love the outdoors. You’ll be 0.5 miles from Snape Marshes, a 75 acre reserve teeming with wildlife, including reptiles (adders, slow worms, lizards and grass snakes), king fishers, owls, ponies, deer and otters. If you’d like to splash around, take a trip to Aldeburgh (5 miles) for a seaside town with excellent beaches. Finish with a big day out at Southwold Maize Maze (15.5 miles) which has a maze, go-karts, a double zipline and jumping pillows.

What a lovely bungalow. Spotlessly clean and tidy and welcoming. There was a lot of pillows though!

Lovely bungalow with a good sized enclosed garden and beautiful conservatory, perfect for benefiting from the late summer sun. Well equipped and comfortable throughout. Situated within east reach of much of the Suffolk coast. And dog friendly!

Lovely cottage, with one or two things we have drawn to the attention of the owners, who we know well. They assured us all the things we mentioned were under review or in hand. Our biggest draw back is the distance, over 300 miles, to travel to go again.

The bungalow was very clean and comfortable and the garden was secure for Fern (although a section of fencing was missing to one side, some "barricades" had been put up!). I've given a 2 for equipment because I feel the bungalow would benefit from more kitchen equipment. For example, a set of chopping knives - there was only one small veg knife anRead mored a knife for cutting bread (trying chopping cabbage with a bread knife!) - a cafetiere (I prefer this to the nespresso machine), a sieve, the cutlery was a bit cumbersome, etc. Also, there was no hairdryer (I've stayed in many self-catering properties and there's always been a hairdryer!). We did unfortunately break a cup while we were there but hopefully the money we left for a replacement was adequate. Hide
