A pleasant property in a good central location. Clean and comfortable. Shame the garden was not enclosed given it is dog friendly and on a busy road, but this was clear on the advert.

This was a lovely home from home for our family Christmas. Comfortable sofas and beds and everything we needed. Loved the garden and feeding the birds. Would be a great location for exploring the local area, particularly in the spring/summer, although wouldn't want to be there at busy times as road busy and noisy when in bed. Overall though, we lovRead moreed our stay. Hide

The house was lovely with large and airy rooms. The location was good and near to coast and lots of local amenities and places of interest.

This was a return trip for us to Stonehurst and once more we found it ideally located for local walking and the coast. The property is very comfortable, well-equipped and we loved the garden and its wildlife. We hope to return next year!

Stonehurst was superb, spotlessly clean and so very comfortable for our group. The local pub is a 5 minute walk away and does great food. The village also has a shop that seems to stock everything.

The beds in the twin room were a little bit low but once in bed were exremely comfortable. The dining chairs were too low and in one case at least felt unsafe. Cutlery and crockery. the property is advetised as being for six people and there was six of everything, but in some cases, no spares so that if we wanted a snack between meals (and the hildRead moreren often did) we had to wash up rather than doing a daily turn in the dishwasher. Also, there were no spare refuse sacks. We are used to bagging gereral waste rather than putting it loose in the bin. Apart from these little niggles, the property was fine. We would certainly consider it for next year, although the location would not be our first choice. Hide

The cottage was outstanding in all respects and although the garden had suffered this extraordinary summer, it was a pleasure to explore with lots of little items to discover. Getting to the beaches is easy there are plenty of places to dine out, all very good quality. We usually find a welcome pack that gives a sort of connection to the owner buRead moret in this case there was none, but the cottage made up for that. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage as it made our stay in Suffolk a lovely experience Hide
