Alde Cottage was very cosy and comfortable. Everything was of a high standard and the owners had thoughtfully provided toiletries, as well as a welcome pack. It was also nice to have some books, dvds and games in the house. The layout is family friendly and the garden well kept and a great additional space. We particularly enjoyed time in Minsmere,Read more Thorpeness and Walberswick ion sunny days. And, the Clip N Climb in Ipswich and the local pool in Lieston leisure centre were great for the children on wetter days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you. Hide

The main oven didnt seem to work - not a major impact. Shower room was located downstairs but more pluses than negatives, main draw was the outdoor space and comfortable outdoor furniture was the big plus for us along with plenty of Crockery and a big American style fridge freezer, great location.

We loved Alde Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and with tasteful and comfortable decor and furnishings. The garden is lovely, perfect for parents to relax while the kids play. The wine and biscuits were gratefully devoured on arrival. The village is just five mins from Saxmundham and Snape and about ten mins from Aldeburgh. The pub in thRead moree village is nice. There are plenty of lovely walks around the village and further afield. We spent a very happy week here and would love to visit again. Hide

Lovely cottage - very quiet and peaceful. Also very friendly and helpful neighbors. Only downside was the lack of a shop in the village for milk, bread and newspapers. Other than that it really was a "home from home"

Beautiful cottage in an excellent location for major places in East Suffolk. Extremely well appointed with lots of amenities. Lovely garden to sit in the sunshine, overlooking fields. Very quiet and peaceful location. No shops in village ,but supermarkets in Saxmundham and Aldeburgh.
