Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings with a variety of quality shops, restaurants and art galleries. The nearby Alde estuary and Thorpeness Meare offer a great variety of water-based activities.

Friendly office staff.Clean, airy and well furnished property.
We found the house very comfortable. All bedrooms having their own bathrooms/ensuite was excellent as we were four couples. We loved the spacious kitchen/dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort throughout the week.
The house is beautifully kept and is very spacious. We were three couples and two children and there was plenty of room and a bathroom for each bedroom. It is also very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner has done a splendid job with this house. I was sorry to leave it. The area is charming.Aldeburgh and Southwold are lovely. The area has shingley beaches but can still be enjoyed.
