For a seaside get-together with family or friends of all ages, these two neighbouring properties will accommodate up to 13 people - and also three canine companions. You’re just minutes from the beach, shops and places to eat in fabulous Aldeburgh, and when you’ve finished exploring you can all relax together in the courtyard garden.

The larger of the two properties (sleeping eight) has a sloped entrance and a wheelchair-accessible double bedroom on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor are the light and spacious lounge (with comfortable sofas, an open fire and a TV), and a sleek kitchen that’s open-plan to the dining area, which has seating for at least ten people. Two further ground-floor bedrooms - a twin and a bunk-bed room suitable for children - are complemented by a family bathroom. The first floor consists of a king-size bedroom, decorated in soft tones for a calming atmosphere, with an en-suite shower room. The smaller property (which sleeps five) has an elegant, open-plan lounge/kitchen on the ground floor, and a charming dining room to seat up to five. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: two doubles (one with an en-suite shower room) and a single, plus a family bathroom. For socialising in the fresh air, whether it’s a pre-dinner drink or a celebratory meal, the courtyard garden can seat 14.

There’s so much to do in fabulous Aldeburgh, from exploring the town and its historic buildings to trying some delicious local fish and chips. If you feel like being active, you could play golf, hire an e-bike to explore the local area, walk the coast path to Thorpeness (2 miles), or head up the Alde Estuary on a canoe, kayak or stand-up paddleboard.

Perfect holiday home. The location is brilliant for exploring the area far and wide. The rooms were spacious and the whole extended family enjoyed our stay in both properties. The kitchens have everything you would need. The garden space was fantastic and on a summers evening I can imagine it is a great addition.

Everything about the property was good but the wooden floor downstairs is clearly never washed. My grandson looked like he had been up a chimney after crawling on it for two minutes. I purchased a mop and bucket and gave it a thorough clean. I emptied 5 buckets of absolutely filthy water. I gave Jeff the mop and bucket at the property so the cleanRead moreer can use! The bed mattress protector was also very stained in the main bedroom I noticed when I stripped the bed which was a bit grim and should have been changed for a clean one. Everything else was perfect as if always has been in past but think the cleaner should pay attention to these areas. Hide

Think properties could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Found items under bed and table . Crockery cooking utensils and glasses needed to go through the dishwasher before use .
