Waveney and North Suffolk

Beccles, an old river port turned market town, lies on the banks of the Waveney and has an eclectic mix of boutiques and antique shops along with a popular boating centre, offering visitors the opportunity to take a boat on the Broads, Britains magical waterland. Nearby our Bungay offers many specialist shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés and many seasonal markets. Even an everyday routine like shopping for food becomes something special when its done in surroundings such as these!
Nearby Earsham is on the doorstep of The Otter Trust one of the largest and oldest otter conservation organisations in the world. Its three lakes are home to a huge selection of wild and native waterfowl and the land surrounding them is full of muntjac and fallow deer a great destination for cottage holidays in nature and wildlife-watching.

Lowestoft the most easterly point in Britain is great for a seaside break. Its fantastic beaches either side of the Claremont Pier are regularly recognised internationally for their excellence and enjoyed by families every summer. Lowestoft town offers a mixture of traditional and contemporary entertainment along with a variety of shops and eateries. While youre here why not visit the Marina Theatre a favourite venue for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra or the Heritage Quay and Maritime Museum. Alternatively, Pleasurewood Hills is nearby great for an adrenaline-pumping day out!
