Starting from our Southwold cottages, set in Suffolk's trendy premier seaside resort, visitors should head to the newly renovated Southwold Pier - one of the finest examples in Britain! On this award winning tourism experience you can enjoy fresh sea food at the The Boardwalk restaurant, tasty cakes and paninis at The Clock House and traditional English fish and chips at The Promenade restaurant. Besides food, find wacky hand-built machines at the 'Under the Pier Show', a variety of gifts at the pier shops and traditional fun at the family orientated games arcades - all supplementing the simple delight of walking along the pier's promenade.
Awarded 'Best Visitor Experience' at the 2009 Tourism in Suffolk Awards, our self-catering cottages near Pleasurewood Hills offer a thriller of an adventure on their doorstep!
This 50-acre theme park is situated on Suffolk's beautiful coastal landscape and offers something for all the family - from adrenalin-fueled coasters and log flumes, to children's rides and Sea Lion and Circus shows. The park's latest thrill ride is the Wipeout rollercoaster, the 'tallest, fastest and most extreme roller coaster in the East of England' that travels up to 50mph and pulls over 5Gs! If you need a rest form all the excitement you can always take a ride on the chairlift across the park lake or hop upon the railway - there is a variety of restaurants and shops to enjoy too!
