Our personal knowledge of the area and the properties featured in our brochure have a very positive benefit to our customers and our carefully targeted advertising is aimed at attracting visitors who appreciate the beauty of our county and its wealth of attractions. We advertise widely throughout the year in national newspapers, magazines, journals, self-catering guides and the Internet.

As part of our comprehensive service to visitors, we ensure that they have an all-inclusive package when staying in our cottages – meaning that bed linen and heating must always be included, which in turn encourages recommendations and repeat bookings. We also insist that all of our properties are inspected and star rated by the tourist board so that customers can select their level of quality. All of these points are very well received.

We are always seeking quality properties in good locations that we can include in our literature. Even though you have missed our 2008 brochure, we produce in-house, a brochure supplement that we add to and update as and when required. Therefore, your property could be marketed in our supplement in less than a week. This supplement is enclosed with every copy of the brochure enabling those properties featured to be given the same marketing as if they were in the main brochure. Our website is produced in-house, meaning your property can be featured immediately on our web pages.

We have a Customer Service Questionnaire which we have found provides us with valuable feedback on our service systems and allows the customer to express their thoughts, both on the holiday property and on the service we provide. This information is very useful for both us and the homeowner to track trends in customer comments and to address immediate issues very quickly. This added local knowledge is one of the many plus points of a specialist agency based in the county it promotes and our brochure to booking ratio bears this out.

Insurance

The acquisition of a holiday home necessitates suitable insurance cover. It is a specific condition of our contract with you that you have in place Public & Property Owner's Liability insurance cover for at least £2 million, for a smaller property, and up to £5 million for larger properties. Your existing insurance policy covering your property and contents could well include this, but it may not extend to apply whilst the property is let. It is important, and a legal requirement, to ensure appropriate cover is in place to protect you and your property.
