Offton is a small village seven miles northwest of Ipswich with a picturesque 13th Century church. There are many local walks signposted just yards from the cottage gates. Flatford Mill, Dedham, Lavenham, Kersey, Woodbridge and Colchester are all within easy driving distance. The market towns of Needham Market and Hadleigh are nearby.

Upton Cottage is a typical Suffolk cottage (Grade 11 listed). Detached, thatched and dating back to around 1650, this property is full of character with a wealth of beams and original features including 2 inglenook fireplaces. There is a half-acre garden with a fenced-off stream running its length. and views of open countryside from the large patio at the rear. Yet the cottage is only 50 yards from the village centre and the church.
