Capel St Andrew is a small village approximately seven miles from the shingle beach at Aldeburgh. Nearby Rendlesham Forest, which covers over 3000 acres and consists of large areas of coniferous plantations as well as heathland and wetland areas, various picnic sites, waymarked walks and cycle trails. The Forest Centre also offers children's orienteering courses and cycle hire. Other places to visit include the nature reserves at Orford Ness and Havergate Island, Otley Hall and Orford Castle.

This lovely, cosy Victorian cottage is tucked away in the heart of Rendlesham Forest and is reached along forest tracks - making it a great country hideaway. The cottage has recently been restored and is very attractively furnished. Shop: 4 miles Pub: 4 miles

Heating: Oil-fired and solar-powered central heating. Fuel for open fire. Welcome pack if required at a cost of £10. Payphone.
Pets: One very well-behaved dog welcome with permission.
Also Provided: Towels.
Notes: There is a pond at the property which is not fenced off, which may make it unsuitable for young children.
