Wenhaston is a pretty and well served village with a choice of two pubs within a mile. There are also three lovely areas of open common within the parish which are ideal for walking. The coastal resort and nature reserves are all within easy reach - Wenhaston is only six miles from Southwold and Walberswick. The southern broads and many inland beauty spots can be found within half an hour's drive. Trains are only four miles away at Halesworth. Regular bus services run through the village to Southwold, Lowestoft and Aldeburgh.

The Secret Garden is a traditional mid-1800s cottage in the heart of the village opposite St Peters church. The cottage has been thoughtfully restored and furnished in keeping with the period, but with a contemporary twist and the benefit of modern conveniences. The pretty garden has several seating areas including a wooden arbour overlooking the small pond. A gate from the garden leads to Church Common. Shop: 3 miles Pub: 1mile.
