Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour’s mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town.  Suffolk Coasts and Heaths (to whom our customer’s £1 booking donation goes) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the area.  And a very important area it is.  It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird’s foot trefoil to name a few. Our properties here enjoy the sunrise over the sea and stunning sunsets over the marshes.

Red Roofs is an ideal holiday home with sea views from the balcony and timbered walls internally. It is almost on the beach - with an onshore breeze you can lie in bed at night and hear the tumbling of the waves. Shop: 0.25 miles Restaurant & Bar: 200 yds
