Wingfield Green is situated close to the Suffolk/Norfolk boundary. It is a natural common with 40 acres of open land offering peaceful walks and wildlife. Wingfield has Suffolk’s only inhabited castle. The village of Stradbroke is only two and a half miles away with all the local amenities including a public swimming pool. Every Friday, the town of Diss has a street market and the local auction house, Gazes, has antiques and collectable sales. Other nearby places to visit include Bressingham Steam Museum, Framlingham Castle and the coastal towns of Southwold, Aldebugh and Great Yarmouth.

Keeley’s Farm, a part 16th Century detached farmhouse, stands on the edge of Wingfield Green. There are Welsh cobs stabled at the adjacent yard and the property offers a comfortable base from which to explore country and coast. The local pub, The De La Pole Arms, serves food and is within walking distance of the property. Shop: 2.5 miles Pub: 0.5 miles
