Westleton is a pretty village midway between Aldeburgh and Southwold with the coast at Dunwich only two and a half miles away. It is centred around a large green and is one of the most popular places to stay on the Heritage Coast as it is an ideal base for the beach or for Minsmere, as well as the coastal heaths and forests. There are two good pubs, a restaurant and well-stocked village store-cum-post office, all in the village centre. Much of the area around the village is accessible open heath or mixed woodland.

Holly Tree Cottage is a charming 18th Century Suffolk cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting on Westleton Common. It has been sympathetically and tastefully renovated to provide bright and welcoming accommodation, and is finished with many thoughtful touches. The large garden has a patio area with furniture for summer living, while the sitting room with its attractive inglenook and traditional Suffolk woodburner, is perfect for those cosy winter evenings.
