Stanton is situated close to the Suffolk/Norfolk border and is an ideal base from which to explore both of these lovely counties. The village is home to Wyken Hall Gardens and Vineyard and Stanton Windmill, which dates from 1751 and is still in working order. It is approximately ten miles between the market towns of Diss and Bury St. Edmunds. Places to visit include Euston Hall, Haughley Park or Henry Watson's Potteries at Wattisfield, where you can take home a present of traditional Suffolk terracotta.

This single storey cottage offers compact accommodation for two people. It is part of the owner's 16th Century farmhouse which stands in two acres of lovely grounds. Recently restored it also has a conservatory, which makes an attractive sitting room. Shop: 1 mile Pub: 1 mile
