Saxmundham is a popular market town at the centre of Suffolk's Heritage Coast, providing an excellent base for tourists wishing to visit the many attractions in the area. Saxmundham has the benefit of a railway station with direct trains to London's Liverpool Street. The town also offers a range of shops, public houses and a Wednesday market.

Albion Mill is a listed property of unique character. The windmill itself is a round tower built in Suffolk brick dating from the 1820s. Its sails were struck by lightning in the early 20th century and had to be demolished but the huge interior beams and some of the original wooden hoppers and wheels have been preserved. The tower has recently been completely renovated and refurbished. Shop: 0.25 miles Pub: 0.25 miles
